🌿 Embrace the Cycle of Connection: Join Our 6-Part Workshop Series in 2025! 🌙

Are you ready to deepen your connection with yourself and others through the wisdom of your menstrual cycle? Join us for “Embracing the Cycle of Connection,” a transformative 6-part workshop series throughout 2025. Each session builds on the previous one, creating a powerful journey of self-discovery and community.

🌼 Workshop Extra Highlights:

Mindfulness with Body (1st Workshop):

  • Introduction to Mindfulness Practices: Learn how to connect with your body through mindfulness. This practice involves focusing on the present moment and observing your body’s sensations without judgment or interpretation.

  • Body Awareness: Gain a deeper understanding of how your body communicates its needs and feelings. This helps you recognize and respond to your body’s signals, promoting overall well-being.

* Sound Healing Method (3rd Workshop):

  • Integration with Mindfulness: Build on the mindfulness practices from the first workshop by incorporating sound healing techniques. Sound healing uses vibrations (frequencies) from instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks to harmonise the body, mind,  and promoting physical relaxation, mental clarity. By soothing the nervous system, releasing emotional tension and balancing energy, it creates a profound sense of inner peace and alignment, fostering a deeper connection to oneself.

* Vocal Exercises (5th Workshop):

  • Connecting with Your Voice: Learn vocal exercises to help you connect with and express your voice effectively. This practice encourages you to vocalize your feelings and thoughts, enhancing your ability to communicate. Also activate and balance the throat chakra, empowering authentic self-expressions.

  • Linking to Menstrual Symptoms and Emotions: Use the skills developed in the mindfulness and sound healing sessions to understand how your menstrual symptoms and emotions influence your inner self. These exercises empower you to express your experiences and foster deeper self-awareness.

Why Join Us?

💛 Understand your cycle’s influence on your emotions and health 💛 Enhance relationships with yourself and others 💛 Create lasting, meaningful connections within a supportive group.

Embracing the Cycle of Connection looks at menstrual energy through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Psychology, and ancient wisdoms of Shamanism.
We will explore the principles of Yin Yang theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine, the feminine transitions of puberty, menopause, PMS, and everything
in between from the viewpoint of Psychology, and finally, delve into the masculine and feminine connection from Shamanism to help us better understand and connect with our Menstrual cycles.

This workshop will allow us to build a supportive community alongside the group therapy approach where women can share their own experiences of their personal menstrual journey in this safe space that allows for continued questioning and learning from one another.

The group size is for a range of 8 to 10 people, only takes a place if the minimum 8 people signed up, if it doesn’t reach the minimum, the booking fee will be refunded.

The first workshop will last roughly 2.5 hours.

The first 30-40 minutes I will share information about the Menstrual Cycle and its relationship to ourselves through the three lenses I specialise in; Traditional Chinese Medicine, Psychology and Shamanism. From there we will move to group exercises where participants will share about their own understanding or reflections through these lenses, and then we will have 1 hour mindfulness exercises with Ms Fidelma Farley (an experienced Mindfulness teacher and coach) to learn how to connect with our bodies. Finally we use the last 15 minutes to thank each other for our presence during this experience, and thank ourselves for making time to reconnect with our feminine power.

It’s worth noting that modern psychology also recognizes the impact of cultural and societal factors on the experience of menstruation. Women may face stigmatization or negative attitudes towards menstruation, which can impact their psychological wellbeing. Therefore, efforts to promote greater understanding and acceptance of the menstrual cycle can also have positive effects on women’s mental health.

To the participants who have signed up for this upcoming workshop, please journal your own connection with your menstrual, such as any symptoms related through physical and emotional aspects before the workshop.

Cultural and Societal factors have heavily impacted the way that our experience of Menstruation is personally processed. Women face stigmatization and negative attitudes towards their cycle, which can heavily affect their psychological well-being. Through Embracing the Cycle of Connection I hope to promote a greater understanding and acceptance of the menstrual cycle resulting in long-term positive effects on women & mental health.
